No Communication With All Systems

  1. Check voltage between ground and OBD-II Data Link Connector (OBD-II DLC) terminal No. 16. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wire between OBD-II DLC and power supply.
  2. Check continuity between ground and OBD-II DLC terminals No. 4 and 5. If continuity exists between ground and each terminal, repair or replace scan tool. If continuity does not exist between ground and either terminal, check connectors and wiring between ground and OBD-II DLC.
