DTC Set Criteria

Engine speed is 500-6000 RPM or 500-6500 RPM (1.8L). Engine coolant temperature is 14°F (-10°C) or more. Intake air temperature is 14°F (-10°C) or more. Adaptive learning is complete for vane which generates crankshaft position signal. No sudden accelerations or decelerations are occurring. Vehicle speed is 1.6 MPH or more. Misfire is determined by change in angular velocity of Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor. Code will set if misfire occurred in 4 or more of last 200 revolutions when catalyst temperature is more than 1742°F (950°C). Also, code will set if misfire occurred in 16 (1.5L) or 20 (1.8L) or more of last 1000 revolutions.
