DTC Set Conditions
Check condition is when at least 20 seconds have passed since the last monitor was complete, engine coolant temperature is more than 169°F (76°C), engine speed is 910-1650 RPM (A/T) or 1000-1650 RPM (M/T), intake air temperature is more than 32°F (0°C), barometric pressure is more than 11 psi (76 kPa), vehicle speed is 18.7 MPH or more (A/T) or 0.9 MPH or more (M/T), and at least 90 seconds have passed since Manifold Differential Pressure (MDP) sensor output voltage fluctuated 1.5 volts or more. The throttle valve must be closed, volumetric efficiency is less than 28 percent (A/T) or less than 18 percent (M/T), and 20 seconds have elapsed from the start of the previous monitoring. Monitoring time is 2 seconds by 3 times. Judgement criteria is when intake manifold pressure fluctuations width is less than 0.37 psi (2.6 kPa) when the EGR solenoid is turned on.
