DTC Set Conditions
Check conditions are when vehicle speed has reached 0.93 MPH (1.5 km/h) or more at least once, vehicle is under closed loop idle speed control, engine coolant temperature is more than 170°F (77°C), battery voltage is more than 10 volts, barometric pressure is more than 11 psi (76 kPa), intake air temperature is more than 14°F (-10°C), 25 seconds have elapsed from the start of the previous monitoring and target idle air control motor position is zero steps.
Judgment criteria is when actual idle speed has continued to be more than the target idle speed by 200 RPM or more for 12 seconds if the maximum air temperature during the previous operation was less than 113°F (45°C).
Judgment criteria is when actual idle speed has continued to be more than the target idle speed by 300 RPM or more for 12 seconds if the maximum air temperature during the previous operation was more than 113°F (45°C).
