Abs Electronic Control Unit

NOTE: When ignition is turned on after replacing ABS ECU, HBB buzzer tone alarm will sound for about 5 seconds. Buzzer sounds because ABS ECU places HBB in operational check mode. To stop the tone alarm, use scan tool to erase DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS.

Remove center console. See Fig 1 . Disconnect ABS ECU harness connectors. See Fig 2 . Disconnect HBB buzzer harness connector. Remove HBB buzzer mounting bolts. Remove HBB. Remove ABS ECU mounting bolts. Remove ABS ECU. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
