CAUTION: When removing and installing the transmission control cable and shift lock cable unit, be careful not to hit the SRS-ECU.

For automatic transaxle key interlock and shift lock mechanisms removal procedures, follow numbered steps in illustration. See Fig 1 . Letters in illustration refer to service point to observe while removing and installing automatic transaxle key interlock and shift lock mechanisms.
