Diagnostic Procedure

With CONSULT-II: Malfunction code No. C1110 

Without CONSULT-II: Malfunction code No. 71 

  1. INSPECTION START 

    ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) power supply and ground circuit inspection.

    1. : GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK CONNECTOR 
    1. Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.

      Check terminals for damage or loose connections. Then reconnect connectors.

    2. Carry out self-diagnosis again.

      Does warning lamp activate again? 

      1. Yes: GO TO 3.
      2. No: INSPECTION END. 
  3. CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 

    Check voltage. Refer to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE ".

    Does battery voltage exist when ignition switch is turned ON? 

    1. Yes: GO TO 4.
    2. No: Repair.
  4. CHECK WARNING LAMP INDICATION 

    Does warning lamp indicate code No. 71 again? 

    1. Yes: Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
    2. No: Inspect the system according to the code No.
