DTC Set Conditions
Check conditions are when at least 20 seconds have passed since the last monitor was complete, engine coolant temperature is more than 169°F (76°C), engine speed is 1000-2000 RPM (M/T) or 880-1800 RPM (A/T), intake air temperature is more than 32°F (0°C), barometric pressure is more than 11 psi (76 kPa), vehicle speed is more than 0.9 MPH (1.5 KM/H - M/T) or 18.7 MPH (30 KM/H - A/T), and at least 90 seconds have passed since manifold differential pressure sensor output voltage fluctuated 1.5 volts or more. The throttle valve must be closed, volumetric efficiency is less than 15 percent (M/T) or 25 percent (A/T), fuel is being shut off (M/T), and 20 seconds have elapsed from the start of the previous monitoring. Monitoring time is 2 seconds by 3 times. Judgement criteria is when intake manifold pressure fluctuations width is less than 0.50 psi (3.5 kPa) when the EGR solenoid is turned on.
