Pattern "A"

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Vehicle security system can be set even though all doors are not locked.

With all doors (including hood and glass hatch) closed, if the key is used to lock doors, SECU terminal No. 33 receives a signal from power window main switch terminal No. 8.

When key cylinder switch is in "LOCK" position, ground is supplied to power window main switch terminal No. 6, from terminal 3 of the left front key cylinder switch, through terminal No. 2 of left front key cylinder switch, through body grounds "M77" (located underhood at rear of right front fender) and "M111" (located behind left front kick panel), or SECU terminal No. 11 receives a ground signal from terminal No. 1 of the back door key cylinder switch, through body grounds "B11" (located behind left front kick panel), "B22" (located on left rear side of trunk) and "D210" (located on left side of hatch door).

If this signal, or lock signal from keyfob is received by the SECU, the vehicle security system will activate automatically.
