Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when an excessively low or high voltage from TP sensor No. 2 is sent to ECM. Possible causes are:
- TP sensor No. 2 circuit open or shorted.
- Defective TP sensor No. 2 (electric throttle control actuator).
