Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when EGR flow is detected under conditions that do not call for EGR. Possible causes are:
- EGRC solenoid valve.
- EGR valve leaking or stuck open.
- EGR temperature sensor.
- EGRC Backpressure Transducer (BPT) valve.
