Lock the flywheel or drive plate in position using the special tool MD998781 shown in the illustration.

Clean the bolt hole in crankshaft bolt and crankshaft pulley's seating surface.
Degrease the cleaned seating surface of the crankshaft pulley.
Install the crankshaft pulley.
Apply oil to the threads of crankshaft bolt and the outer surface of washer.

Tighten the crankshaft bolt to the specified torque.
1. Tightening torque: 182 +/- 4 N.m (134 +/- 3 ft-lb)
