Diagnostic Procedure

With CONSULT-II: Malfunction code No. C1130, C1131, C1132, C1133, C1135, or U1000
Without CONSULT-II: Malfunction code No. 77, 83, 84, 86, 87 or 88
- SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT CHECK-1
Check the self-diagnosis results.
- Malfunction codes 77, 83, 84, 86, 87 or 88
- Diagnostic trouble codes C1130, C1131, C1132, C1133, C1135 or U1000
Are any items other than above indicated in self-diagnosis results?
- Yes: Repair as necessary.
- No: GO TO 2.
- CHECK THE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector with the ignition switch OFF.
- Check the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness and connector for open and shorted circuit.
- Check the connector housing for disconnected, loose, bent, and collapsed terminals.
Is inspection result OK?
- Yes: GO TO 3.
- No: Repair harness or connector. GO TO 3.
- SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT CHECK-2
- Connect the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector and turn the ignition switch ON.
- After erasing the self-diagnosis result, start the engine to perform the self-diagnosis again.
Is inspection result OK?
- Yes: System is OK.
- No: Refer to "CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ".
