- Remove the left rear seat cushion mounting bolts, and lift the left rear seat cushion and tie it to the head restraint.

- Cut the floor mat and then remove the service hole cover to gain access to the service hole.
NOTE:
Push the floor mat to find the notches and cut the floor mat along them.

- Disconnect the fuel pump module connector, the fuel tank differential pressure sensor connector and fuel high-pressure hose.

CAUTION:
When withdrawing the fuel pump module from the fuel tank, be careful not to damage the module unit and the float.
- Remove the mounting nuts and plate, and remove the fuel pump module from the fuel tank.

- Connect the suction hose to the fuel pump module, and install the fuel pump module to the fuel tank while ensuring that the suction hose is not kinked.

- Install the plate to the fuel tank.
- Connect the fuel pump module connector, the fuel tank differential pressure sensor connector and fuel high-pressure hose.

- Install the service hole cover.

- Tightening torque: 1.5 + 0.5 N.m (14 + 4 in-lb)
- Install the floor mat into its original position.
- Untie the left rear seat cushion, install it into its original position and tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
- Tightening torque: 44 + 10 N.m (33 + 7 ft-lb)
