Keyless Entry System: General Description

Some models are equipped with a radio-controlled remote keyless entry system. The main features are:

• Antenna and receiver are incorporated in the ETACS-ECU.
• ID code can be registered by using the vehicle communication interface (V.C.I.) [MUT-III].
• Transmitter is a key holder type, which incorporates the lock button and unlock button.
• Locking is answered back by two flashes of the dome light, two flashes of the turn signal light, and one sounding of the horn.
• Unlocking is answered back by illumination of the dome light for 15 seconds and one flash of the turn signal light.
