CLOCKSPRING Test

  1. Visually inspect clockspring connectors, terminals, protective tubing and case for damage. Check for continuity between connector C-306, terminal No. 1 and horn contact connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install Electrical Probes (MB991222) into connector C-305 from harness side. See Fig 2 . Continuity should not exist between any of the connector terminals.
  3. Replace clockspring if damaged or if continuity is not as specified.
