Stoplight Switch Check

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. On vehicles without cruise control, connect an ohmmeter between stoplight switch connector terminals. On vehicles with cruise control, connect an ohmmeter between Green and Red wire terminals.
  2. On all models, there should be no continuity between the terminals when the plunger is pushed in .16" (4 mm). There should be continuity when plunger is released. Replace switch as necessary.
