AIR CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
All models with A/C . When servicing A/C, remember to compare your gauge readings to the MUT-III data list. With the key on and engine not running, both readings should be nearly the same (approx. 80 - 90 psi @ 68°F/20°C).
A faulty A/C pressure sensor can prevent A/C operation. If you suspect the MUT-III readings are incorrect, disconnect the sensor while monitoring A/C pressure on the data list. If the reading is near zero, diagnose for a faulty sensor as per the service manual. If there is no change, diagnose the rest of the circuit and control unit.
