- Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
- Does the "SRS" warning light illuminate for approximately seven seconds, and go out?
- If yes, the SRS system is functioning properly. If no, refer to HOW TO READ AND ERASE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES .
