Manual Transaxle: General Description: Notes

Due to addition of the MR model, the newly-developed W6MAA type transaxle < 6M/T-AWD > has been adopted.
The RS and GSR models have the same transaxle as W5M51 type < 5M/T-AWD >.
The W6MAA type transaxle combines an acceleration performance achieved by an adoption of cross gear ratio and a high-speed performance acquired by 6th gear, thus corresponding to a wide variety of driving conditions.
The helical gear type limited slip differential and active center differential (ACD) are equipped as standard on all vehicles.
