When Using The Abs Warning Light

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Required Special Tool:

Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Use special tool MB991529 to earth terminal number 1 (diagnostic control terminal) of the data link connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

Read out a diagnostic trouble code by observing how the ABS warning light flashes.

Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Disconnect special tool MB991529.
