Transmission Oil Replacement

  1. Remove the filler plug.
  2. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil.
  3. Tighten the oil drain plug to the specified torque.
    1. Tightening torque < W5M51>: 32 +/- 2 N.m (23 +/- 2 ft-lb) 
    2. Tightening torque < W6MAA>: 35 +/- 4 N.m (26 +/- 3 ft-lb) 
  4. Fill with specified oil till the level comes to the lower portion of oil filler plug hole.
    1. Specified transmission oil < W5M51>: Gear oil API classification GL-4 SAE 75W-85W or 75W-90 
    2. Specified transmission oil < W6MAA>: DIA QUEEN SUPER MULTI GEAR SAE 75W-85 (GL-4) or exact equivalent 
    3. Quantity < W5M51>: 2.8 dm 3  (2.9 quart) 
    4. Quantity < W6MAA>: 2.2 dm 3  (2.3 quart)

  5. Tighten the oil filler plug to the specified torque.
    1. Tightening torque < W5M51>: 32 +/- 2 N.m (23 +/- 2 ft-lb) 
    2. Tightening torque < W6MAA>: 35 +/- 4 N.m (26 +/- 3 ft-lb)
