Installation Service Point

>>A<< G AND YAW RATE SENSOR INITIALIZATION 

If the G and yaw rate sensor is replaced, park the vehicle on a level surface and follow the procedure below.

  1. Connect scan tool MB991958 to the data link connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
  3. Execute item No. 16 "G SNSR:" on the Actuator test.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
  5. Disconnect scan tool MB991958.
