Assembly Service Points

Using special tools MD998812, MD998814 and MD998823, install the 4th drive gear.
Install the spacer to input shaft.

Using special tools MD998812, MD998813 and MD998823, install the 3rd drive gear.

Using special tools MD998812, MD998813 and MD998823, install the 6th drive gear.
CAUTION: Never push the sealing area at the press fit.

Check the installation direction of the radial ball bearing.

Using special tools MD998812, MD998813 and MD998823, install the radial ball bearing.

Select a shaft snap ring that allows distance of the thrust crevice of radial ball bearing to fall within the standard value range.
Standard value: 0-0.1 mm (0-0.0039 inch)

Check the installation direction of the cylindrical roller bearing.

Using special tools MD998812, MD998813 and MD998818, install the cylindrical roller bearing.
