SERVICE INFORMATION

RKE PROGRAMMING DIFFICULTY - 2004 & later Galant, Endeavor, 2006 & later Eclipse, 2007 & later Eclipse Spyder.  You may experience where after programming, the MUT-III indicates that the RKE fobs have been registered, but the doors will not lock or unlock. Check for proper ground at connector C217 at the back of the ETACS. Also check that joint connector 3 is properly secured. Ensure that all pins are firmly inserted and make proper contact. Insure that the key reminder switch is functioning properly. With the driver's door open, insure that the chime is heard with the key in the ignition and not heard when it is removed.
