Install new bolts
First step 35 ± 2 Nm (26 ± 1 ft-lb)
Second step Tighten 90°
Third step Tighten 90°

Cylinder Head Inspection





The grinding limit shall be within 0.2 mm (0.01 inch) in combination with the cylinder block to be assembled

Standard value Within 0.05 mm (0.002 inch)
Limit 0.2 mm (0.01 inch)
Grinding limit 0.2 mm (0.01 inch)
Cylinder head height 128.5 mm (5.06 inches)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Mounting Bolts 12 ± 1 Nm (106 ± 8 in-lb)
Tighten bolts in two or three steps





Front Camshaft Bearing Cap Mounting Bolts





First step (1) 17 ± 3 Nm (14 ± 2 ft-lb)
Second step (2) 30 ± 2 Nm (22 ± 1 ft-lb)
