Keyless Entry System Check

Check the keyless entry system as described below. If it does not work, perform troubleshooting. Refer to TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHART  .

• Operate the transmitter to check that the doors and liftgate (LANCER SPORTBACK) can be locked and unlocked.
• Operate the transmitter to check that the answerback function works in response to doors and liftgate < LANCER SPORTBACK > locking/unlocking.
  NOTE: The hazard answerback setting can be changed using the customization function. Confirm which setting is activated before performing these checks. Refer to CUSTOMIZATION FUNCTION  .
