Inspection Procedure 1: Scan tool cannot communicate with the TCL/ASC system: Notes
CAUTION:
- If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ) .
- Whenever the ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
- If the power is supplied with the ground circuit of CAN communication devices open circuited, a potential abnormality may occur to the connected CAN bus line.
