  1. Remove the grease adhering to the inner face of transaxle connecting joint.
  2. Apply the specified grease slightly and evenly to the inner face of the transaxle connecting joint as indicated in the illustration.

    Specified grease: Dow Corning MOLYKOTE BR2 Plus or equivalent 

    Application amount: 0.1 to 0.3 g (0.004 - 0.010 ounce) 

    NOTE: Application of grease to the transaxle and to the motor (electric motor unit) axle side is not needed.
