>> E << Shift Lock Cable Connection (Selector Lever Side)
- Shift the selector lever to the P position, and turn the electric motor switch to the LOCK (OFF) position.
- While paying attention not to twist the inner cable, insert the cable into the cable installation hole of shift lock cam.
- While paying attention not to bend the inner cable, position the outer cable to near the fixing section of selector lever bracket.CAUTION: When installing the shift lock cable to the selector lever bracket, be sure to insert by pressing the adjuster case. Do not push the lock piece.
- With the lock piece lifted (unlocked state), slide downward of the adjuster case, and install it to the fixing section of selector lever bracket.
- While holding the key lock cam downward, press the cable outer section upward twice.
- While holding the key lock cam downward, securely lock the lock piece by pressing in the lock piece. Then, check that the adjuster case is flush with the lock piece.
