>> C << Clip And Transaxle Control Cable Connection (Transaxle Side)
- Hook the new clip into the groove found at the tip of transaxle control cable.
- Insert the plate rod [width: approximately 8 mm (approximately 0.3 inch); plate thickness: approximately 0.5 mm (approximately 0.02 inch)] into the gap between the clip and transaxle control cable tip. While turning the rod for 90 degrees, fit the spring into the groove found on the opposite side.
- Set the control lever to the N position.
- Insert the inner cable end into the pin of control lever.CAUTION: Be sure to press the area A of transaxle control cable indicated in the illustration. Do not press the area B as damage may result.
- After inserting the transaxle control cable tip into the pin of control lever, insert it into the cable bracket until it clicks into place. Then, check that the claw is engaged with the square hole of cable bracket.
