<< A >> Transaxle Control Cable Connection (Selector Lever Side)

CAUTION: Be sure to pull up by grasping the area A of the transaxle control cable. Do not pull up by holding the area B as damage may result.
  1. Set the selector lever to the N position, and use a flat-tipped screwdriver to disengage the claw. Then, lift the transaxle control cable upward.

  2. Insert the flat-tipped screwdriver into the section indicated with an arrow, and pry the screwdriver to remove the inner cable end.
    NOTE: If the rubber bushing of inner cable end remains on the selector lever side, remove the rubber bushing, and then install it to the inner cable end.
