Check At Engine Control Module Terminal

Use special tool power plant ECU check harness (MB992110), check the engine control module terminal voltage.

  1. Remove the engine control module (Refer to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE < 2.4L ENGINE >, ENGINE CONTROL MODULE < 3.0L ENGINE >).
  2. Connect special tool MB992110 between the engine control module and the body-side harness connector.
  3. Measure the terminal voltages between the check connector terminals of special tool MB992110 and ground terminals No.81 or 93.

108 BRK Stoplight switch (brake switch) Ignition switch: "ON" Depress the brake pedal. Battery positive voltage
Release the brake pedal. 1V or less
