How To Operate The Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III): Notes

CAUTION: Before setting the service reminder, if elapsed days are not calculated, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. Then press the meter information switch. Then, press the meter information switch for 1.2 second or more to make the service reminder indicator flash. While the service reminder indicator is flashing, press the meter information switch for less then 1.2 second to start the measurement.

Connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to the data link connector.
Start the scan tool system on the PC and turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
Select "Meter" on the "System Select" screen, and press the "OK" button.
Select "Special Function" on the next screen.
Select "Service Reminder" on the "Special function" screen.
Select the function to be executed from "Function List."
