Tire Pressure Sensor: Notes

CAUTION: DO NOT drop tire pressure sensor from height greater than 1 meter (3.3 feet). If you shake the sensor, you can hear a rattle, but this is not a failure. It is normal.
CAUTION: DO NOT expose tire pressure sensor to extraneous magnetic fields, store at temperatures above 80°C (176°F), or expose to temperatures above 100°C (212°F).
CAUTION: DO NOT use an aerosol puncture-repair spray. Such a spray could damage tire pressure sensor.
NOTE: Relieve tire pressure by removing valve nut rather than by removing valve core.
NOTE: Replace valve stem grommet with a new one every 5 years or when tire is replaced.
