STEP 1. Synchronize the rolling code and recheck the DTC.
1. Synchronize the rolling code.
  - Push the lock switch or unlock switch of transmitter twice or more.
  - If the keyless entry system does not resume by the procedure above, register the key again (Refer to KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM TIMER LOCK FUNCTION INSPECTION ).
2. Recheck if the DTC is stored.
  1. Push the lock switch or unlock switch of transmitter.
  2. Check if the DTC is stored.
Q: Is the DTC stored?
- YES: Go to Step 2.
- NO: The diagnosis is complete.
STEP 2. Check whether the DTC is stored again.
Replace the transmitter by which the DTC is stored with a new one, register the key (Refer to HOW TO REGISTER ENCRYPTED CODE .), and recheck if the DTC is stored.
1. Push the lock switch or unlock switch of transmitter.
2. Check if the DTC is stored.
Q: Is the DTC stored?
- YES: Replace ETACS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to HOW TO REGISTER ENCRYPTED CODE ).
- NO: The diagnosis is complete.
