- Voltage of battery: 10 volts or more.
- Transmission fluid temperature: 20°C (-4°F) or more.
- Transmission range switch position: D or R.
- Accelerator position: Less than 1.23 V.
- Vehicle speed: Less than 3 km/h (2 mph).
- Turbine speed at before "N to D", "N to R" or "P to R" shifting: More than 500 r/min.
- Time since shifting: Less than defined time*.
NOTE:
*: Defined time
- N to D shifting: 0.4 second or less
- N to R shifting: 0.3 second or less
- P to R shifting: 0.3 second or less
