DTC C1915: Transmitter OFF Mode, Tire1; DTC C1925: Transmitter OFF Mode, Tire2; DTC C1935: Transmitter OFF Mode, Tire3; DTC C1945: Transmitter OFF Mode, Tire4: Diagnosis

  1. STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), diagnose the CAN bus lines. 

    Use scan tool to diagnose the CAN bus lines.

    Q: Is the check result normal? 

  2. STEP 2. DTC recheck after resetting CAN bus lines. 

    Recheck if DTC C1915, C1925, C1935 or C1945 is set.

    1. Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" position.
    2. Check if the DTC is set.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.

    Q: Is DTC C1915, C1925, C1935 or C1945 set? 

    • YES:  Go to Step  3.
    • NO:  The procedure is complete.
  3. STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again. 

    Recheck if the DTC is set.

    1. Drive the vehicle for five minutes.
    2. Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" position.
    3. Check if the DTC is set.
    4. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.

    Q: Are the all DTCs C1915, C1925, C1935 and C1945 set? 

  4. STEP 4. Check whether the DTC is set again. 

    Recheck if the DTC is set.

    1. Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" position.
    2. Check if the DTC is set.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.

    Q: Is DTC C1915, C1925, C1935 or C1945 set? 

    • YES:  Replace the ETACS-ECU <Vehicles without Keyless Operation System> (Refer to ETACS ) or KOS & OSS-ECU <Vehicles with Keyless Operation System> (Refer to KEYLESS OPERATION SYSTEM (KOS) ), and register the ID codes (Refer to TPMS SPECIAL FUNCTION ). Then start over at Step 1.
    • NO:  The procedure is complete.
