>>A<< Clip/Transaxle Control Cable (Transaxle Side) Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Securely insert the clip, and transaxle control cable until they click into place.
  1. After installing the new clip to the cable bracket of the transaxle, install the transaxle control cable to the cable bracket.
    NOTE: The clip is reversible.
  2. Move the selector lever and manual control lever to the "N" position.

    CAUTION:
    • Confirm that the width across flats of the cable end, matches a long hole of manual control lever.
    • Before assembling between a manual control lever and an cable end of transaxle control cable, release taking a hold on an cable end once, and it's surely confirmed that it doesn't take tension on.
  3. Use the adjusting nut to tighten the transaxle control cable to the specified torque.

Tightening torque: 

9.5 ± 3.5 N m (84 ± 30 in-lb)
