DTC C2339: ASC System Failure Detected (ASC-ECU): Diagnosis
- STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the ASC system DTC. CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
- Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE). Refer to "HOW TO CONNECT THE SCAN TOOL (M.U.T.-IIISE) ."
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), perform ASC system DTC (Refer to DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION ).
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Q: Is any DTC set?
YES: Repair the ASC system (Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).
NO: Go to Step 2.
- STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the ACC/FCM-ECU.
- Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
- Press the ACC ON/OFF switch to turn the ACC system to ON.
- On completion, check that the DTC is set again.
Q: Is DTC C2339 set?
YES: Replace the ACC/FCM-ECU (Refer to ACC/FCM-ECU ).
NO: It can be assumed that this malfunction is intermittent (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS ).
