Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- To remove the driver air bag module, refer to SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING .
Pre-removal operation
- Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
- Removal of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY )
- Removal of steering wheel assembly (Refer to DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING )
Post-installation operation
- Installation of steering wheel assembly (Refer to DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING )
- Installation of steering column lower cover, steering column upper cover (Refer to STEERING COLUMN SHAFT ASSEMBLY )
- Steering wheel at straight-ahead position check
