Keyless Entry System Check

Check the keyless entry system as described below. If it does not work, perform TROUBLESHOOTING (Refer to TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHART ).

Operate the transmitter to check that the doors and liftgate can be locked and unlocked.
Operate the transmitter to check that the answer back function works in response to doors and liftgate locking/unlocking.

NOTE: The hazard answer back setting can be changed using the customization function. Confirm which setting is activated before performing these checks (Refer to CUSTOMIZATION FUNCTION ).
