Use the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to execute the automatic high beam system operation check on the special function menu: Notes
NOTE:
The headlights may not be switched between high and low beams when it is dark around the vehicle.
- Connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
- Follow "Check that the automatic high beam system is activated" (Refer to SPECIAL FUNCTION TABLE ) to switch on the system (the automatic high beam system operation indicator (green) illuminates).
- Operate the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) as below:
- Select "FCM/LDW/AHB" on the system selection screen.
- Select "Special function."
- Select "Test."
- Select "AHB operation check mode" and wait for ten seconds.
- Cover the lens on the camera entirely with a lightproof shield.
OK: The headlights are switched into high beam.
- Uncover it.
OK: The headlights are switched into low beam.
