DTC C1915: Transmitter Off Mode, Tire1; DTC C1925: Transmitter Off Mode, Tire2; DTC C1935: Transmitter Off Mode, Tire3; DTC C1945: Transmitter Off Mode, Tire4: Diagnosis
- STEP 1. Scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) CAN bus diagnostics
Use scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to diagnose the CAN bus lines.
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES : Go to Step 2.
NO : Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- STEP 2. DTC check
- Drive the vehicle for 5 minutes.
- Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" position.
- Check if the DTC is set.
Q: Are the all DTCs C1915, C1925, C1935, C1945, C1955 set?
YES : Replace the TPMS transmitters of all the four wheels, and register ID codes (Refer to P.31-29 ).
NO : Register the ID codes (Refer to P.31-29 ). (The transmitter which is in OFF mode is replaced during ID registration process). Then Go to Step 3.
- STEP 3. Check whether the DTC is set again.
- Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) to "ON" position.
- Check if the DTC is set.
Q: Is the DTC set?
YES : Replace the KOS&OSS-ECU (Refer to KOS&OSS-ECU ) <Vehicles with KOS> or ETACS-ECU (Refer to ETACS-ECU ) <Vehicles without KOS> and register the ID codes.
NO : The procedure is complete.
