Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

When removing and installing the transaxle assembly, be careful not to drop the torque converter. In addition, do not remove the torque converter.
When the transaxle assembly is replaced, initialize the CVT learned value. Refer to INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CVT LEARNED VALUE .

Pre-removal operation

Under Cover Front Removal. Refer to UNDER COVER ).
Transmission Fluid Draining. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACEMENT .
Engine Coolant Draining. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .
Starter Motor Assembly Removal. Refer to STARTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
Exhaust Manifold Removal. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
Drive Shaft Removal. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY .
Air Cleaner Assembly Removal. Refer to AIR CLEANER .
Battery and Battery Tray Removal. Refer to BATTERY .

Post-installation operation

Battery and Battery Tray Installation. Refer to BATTERY .
Air Cleaner Assembly Installation. Refer to AIR CLEANER .
Drive Shaft Installation. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY .
Exhaust Manifold Installation. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
