How To Operate The Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III): Notes

CAUTION: If the combination meter has not started to calculate the elapsed time yet, follow steps "a" to "d" to activate the calculation beforehand.

Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Press the multi-information display switch to display the service reminder on the multi-information display.
Press and hold the multi-information display switch for at least one second until the service reminder indicator flashes.
While the indicator is flashing, press the switch briefly (within one second).

Connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to the data link connector.
Start the scan tool system on the PC and turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
Select "Meter" on the "System Select" screen, and press the "OK" button.
Select "Special Function" on the next screen.
Select "Service Reminder" on the "Special function" screen.
Select the function to be executed from "Function List."

- 7 Optional INT schedule setting. Refer to OPTIONAL INT SCHEDULE SETTING .
