DTC B254F: IG status fault: Diagnosis
- STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), diagnose the CAN bus line.
Use the scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to diagnose the CAN bus lines.
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES: Go to Step 2.
NO: Repair the CAN bus line (Refer to TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), recheck the diagnostic trouble code.
Check if DTC No. U0141 is set.
Q: Is the DTC set?
YES: Troubleshoot diagnostic trouble code No. U0141 (Refer to TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS ).
NO: Go to Step 3.
- STEP 3. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
Check again if the DTC is set in the camera-ECU.
- Erase the DTC.
- Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
- Check if DTC is set.
Q: Is the DTC set?
YES: Replace the camera-ECU (Refer to CAMERA-ECU REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
NO: The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to How to use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTION ).
