Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Removal

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the right rear lower quarter panel trim. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the body wire harness connectors (3) from the DriveTrain Control Module (DTCM) (1).
  5. Remove the fasteners (2) holding the DTCM in position.
  6. Remove the DTCM from the vehicle.
