Module, Forward Facing Camera (FFCM): Installation

NOTE:
Ensure that both inside and outside of the windshield in the area of the Forward Facing Camera (FFC) is clean of dirt, dust, or finger prints prior to installation.
- Position the FFC and snap it into the FFC bracket. Verify that the bracket locks (1) are fully engaged.
- Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the FFC.
- Assemble and install the interior rear view mirror covers (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
