Module, Hands Free Liftgate: Installation: Sensor

  1. Position the Hands Free Entry (HFE) sensor (2) to the bumper fascia (3).
  2. Install the fasteners (1) to secure the sensor (2) to the bumper fascia (3).

  3. Position the HFE liftgate module (3) in the HFE Sensor bracket.
  4. Install the fastener (2) to secure the HFE liftgate module to the HFE sensor bracket.
  5. Connect the wire harness connectors (1) to the HFE liftgate module.
  6. Install the rear bumper lower fascia. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, LOWER, INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
